Logo Design Outsourcing
Agents of Value is able to serve as a logo design outsourcing partner. By hiring web designers from Agents of Value, you will be able to provide logo design services to your customers.
As a logo is a key part of any businesses identity, we recommend the following process to ensure the best results.
Step 1. Gather logo customer requirements. It’s important to find out exactly what the expectations of the customer are. We recommend using our logo design questionnaire to completely and accurately gather customer requirements.
As a customer of Agents of Value, we’re happy to provide you with a branded version of this questionnaire, that you can send directly to your customer.
Step 2. Review the requirements. Review the logo requirements with your designer from Agents of Value. If the requirements are clear, the designer can proceed to the next step, if not, it might be necessary to contact the customer for additional information.
Step 3. Create the initial logo designs. Depending on the logo package that your customer has purchased, you can ask your web designer to create as many logo samples as needed. Typically, customers will ask to see between 1 and 5 variations. The logos can placed on a single image file so they can easily be compared against each other.
Step 4. Review the designs with the customer. After the designer has completed the samples, they will be sent back to you. You can then contact the customer, and discuss any feedback with them directly. This process can sometimes be done over email or with the use of some web based project management software like Basecamp.
Step 5. Send any feedback to your web designer. After the first round, a customer generally will pick one or two styles that they prefer. They may request for some changes or updates of the logo style or positioning.
Step 6. Review the changes with your customer. Often times, a customer will already be able to choose a logo they are happy with now. In some cases, it will be necessary to repeat the revision cycle again (back to Step 5), to come up with a version they are completely satisfied with.
Step 7. Send the customer the finished project. Once the final version has been selected, your web designer can package up the final deliverable for you to send to the customer. This should include all of the file formats that were requested by the client on the logo design questionnaire.
Logo Design Outsourcing FAQs:
1. How many logo design concepts can a designer create in a single day?
This depends on the experience of the designer and the complexity of the logo design. For a simple design, an experienced logo designer might be able to create 8 to 10 high quality logo design concepts in 8 hours of work. If the logo design requirements are more complex, it might only be possible to create 2 or 3 logo design concepts.
2. Can I have a designer create some custom logo design samples before I add them to my team?
Sure, that’s no problem.
3. My customer hasn’t returned the logo design questionnaire yet, but is asking to see some logo design samples. What should I do?
Generally, it’s best to get started after you’ve collected the custome requirements. If you start designing logos without having a clear set of customer requirements, it might end up creating more work in the long run, as the customer may need to request more revisions to get a logo they feel satisfied with.
